Question new from sc, questions about an m3

Hello everyone. Been browsing forums gathering as much info as i can to make my purchase. Pics and info of the car are posted here. We are at 15,5k right now as far as price. I have test driven it, and it drives amazing, too me at least. Being the only I have driven I have to admit. Great pull even in higher gears.

I am planning on trying to get a ppi done just as well if possible at my expense. I do know it has the middle seatbelt in back has a missing black housing to the buckle. It's basically the innards and the red release button. As well as one of the black plastic pieces in the bottom corners of back seat is missing. The inside slide for sunroof is off track as well. All these are minor which i got them to put in writing they would fix last Saturday when i test drove it. Today I went to the shop they said they used and talked to a few techs who remember them being it by, but said they didn't give it a thorough look over and said they would do it for me no problem for about 89 bucks for the hour it would take.

They did say they recall because it has a momo steering wheel the airbag light will never go off. As well as the driver door actuator needs replaced.

My question is , does this seem like good buy, granted ppi checks out?
I'm also thinking they should swap for stock steering wheel with airbag as well as actuator and i may be at a win then?

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Also wanted to add carfax they had showed that it had been in a minor incident that had been fixed. Also think it showed with 6 owners. Not sure how that fairs for a car like this and its age but figured I would throw that in.

The car looks nice for the most part (the color is Titanium Silver, not Titan Silver). 6 owners is a lot - just increases the odds that one or more people who owned this car could have beat on it.

Does the carfax indicate where the car was hit? I'm assuming rear end because the M3 badge is in the wrong spot. This tells me it was hit in the rear. If the carfax indicates the hit was elsewhere, then it isn't complete. There is no other good reason for the badge to be out of place, other than previous rear-end damage.

This car doesn't have xenon headlights either, which for me would be a deal breaker. And that steering wheel is not my cup of tea. Even going through one of the vendors here, you'll still pay $1100 or so for a new leather M3 steering wheel + airbag.

Not sure how much you've searched around, but there's a lot of these cars for sale. Might be worth searching a bit longer....I would. But it's you're call - good luck

Also, the sunroof shade is an expensive fix. Dealer quoted me over 1K to fix the broken shade. There might be a DIY on here, but I believe you have to pull the entire headligher and inside portion of the roof section apart. You could live with it as it (it should still open and close, just not smoothly), but if you want it fixed right, it will cost you, either time, money, or both.
