If you're wiling to come down to Marin, I like Bill Arnold in San Rafael. Honest, competent, as are the two guys he has working for him. Just not cheap.

I know there are 3-5 places in Santa Rosa.
Just wondering if anybody has any experiences with them.
Good or bad.

I don't live that far north. Don't even live in Marin, but it's worth the bridge toll for me to go to shops that I can trust. Bill Arnold, 007 Smog, Diamond Tires.

Test only smog for $40? A tire shop that knows their ****, likes Bimmers, and starts and tightens lug nuts by hand? Done and done. Plus I liked seeing one of Bill's guys at Sears Point for the 24 Hours of Lemons (altho E30s are so played out).

Feel free to drop by some of those shops in Santa Rosa and see what kinda vibe you get and report back. Or look at Yelp (but practice reading between the lines).
