Get new wheels?

Hi, I'm new... so go easy on me. Anyway, I notice that my driver's side wheel's rim is bent a tad bit at the lip, and my tire seems its leaking air so I gotta reinflate it every week or so. Is it safe driving like this? I'm buying new wheels but I don't want to buy them yet since it is still winter over here and it might snow again. I bought the car used, and the previous owner already bent the other rim so I didn't get a spare. Potholes suck =\

I'd suggest having it checked out locally to be sure the bead of the tire is still sealing properly and that no damage to the tire occured during that pothole encounter.
