Been thinking about getting a UGDO transmitter... But have a question regarding the headliner cover. I took mine off and while it does have the break-away plastic square piece, it doesn't have the bulge like the one shown in the OP. Even though it looks like my cover can accept the UGDO unit, would I have clearance issue with the sunroof motor, since my cover lacks the bulge? If I will have issues with fitment, what's the part number for the headliner cover that has the bulge?

Just wondering, but you mentioned that anything that plugs into an outlet can be controller by a homelink, could you explain this? and please a diy on how to do it?

Random question after installing my Homelink: I've had it installed for roughly a month in my M3, and I noticed right away that if my garage door is opened, my dash lights illuminate even if the door was opened from a different source. No biggie, until it drained my battery from going in/out of the garage and not driving the car for a week or so.
I know the easy solution is: drive your M3 more often. However, does anybody know how to make the Homelink not power up every time the garage door is opened from outside the car?
