and I wouldn't worry about that header. They are damn expensive and you will be going FI eventually. a little dent wont hurt anything.

what are you doing that is making it more unique? i see your sig says something about 2008 conversion? you plan on putting e90 body pieces on it? also what are you doing with the wiring??

No the black one was my old Sedan sold that, my current project is the silver one you see in my sig, that's getting a full m3 swap, plus m3 body parts such as quarters and then suspension too, debating on coils or bags, its pretty much going to be something lile jeppej just not as crazy cutting cars in half, but yeah got a good a good deal on a whole bearly hit m3 so much easier for me to finish this project

yea thats basicly what im doing but instead of trying to fit m3 body pieces im just gunna weld on some wide fenders....

did you figure out what your doing with the wiring??

this has been my bigest concern and i havnt had anyone give me a deffinate solution...

Planning on either running the old or actually ripping everything out the m3 and putting it in the sedan

but if you rip everything out what will you do with the rear doors? im thinking im gunna use the stock body harness and me m3 engine harness, however im not sure if they will plug and play together nicely

started taking connections off the engine yesterday, took me about an hour to get two connections off (one being the throttle cable) then after finnaly getting thoes two off i gave up for the day... just wasnt feeling it

Can someone please give me some advice on things i should replace or mod while my car is completely appart...

what i mean is what am i going to want to end up doing down the road that will be 10x harder once the parts are in the car?

i plan on replacing most of the suspension bushings, SS brake and clutch lines, reinforcing the subfame. but what else should i do while everthing is easy to get to??

also if you could suggest a company to get these items from it would be great.. thanks in advance

Also dont forget to replace the Guibo and center bearing and diff cover with bushings and the new diff bolts. You can get all OEM parts from getbmwparts.com or thebmwpartstore.com

the center bearing in the guibo? also replace the diff cover?? really?? i didnt know they were prone to failure. or are you saying replace the diff bushings?
im confused....

also i will be replacing every bolt in the suspension. my m3 parts are completely seperate, the guy a got them from had them completely appart. and did not give me any of the bolts.

Drive shaft coupling 26 11 2 226 527, Drive shaft Center bearing 26 12 2 282 495, The M3s diff bushing do not come separate, they come as a full cover with bushes 33 11 2 282 482, replace it if the bushings are worn. Upgraded diff bolts 23 00 1 222 891 x 2 and 33 17 7 840 535 x 1.

I don't remember reading about you doing the front M3 suspension, but even if you stay non M fitament up front I'm pretty sure you can get the M3 front stingray underpan and M3 FCAB carriers with non-M bushings. It should all bolt right up to your front suspension and create more structural ridgity replacing that tubular triangle in your picture on page 1. That or even get the non-M stingray pan.

If your front control arms are loose replace those and do the inner and outer tierods. Could do the steering guibo too.

one question with the drive shaft center bearing, are you talking about number 7 or number 8 here? because the bearing is number 7 but the pn you gave is number 8... should i just get both?
