Taurus 24/7 OSS as a range gun?

So I'm looking to pick one of these up in November at a gunshow. Anyone here have any experience with this particular model in 9mm? I've already seen it at a store but haven't fired it, as the title says it'll be a range gun so carrying capability or weight doesn't matter to me. Anything you can tell me about thus firearm would be helpful. Thanks!

The only Taurus I own is a PT 1911. Some people seem to have a disliking for Taurus, but it's been good to me so far. I've tried to jam it by throwing all 8 shots down-range followed by two more full magazines in rapid succession. No success on misfeeds or any ejection failures, so I'm happy with it (only paid $400 for it). I've known a couple other people with Tauruses (I assume that's the right plural form), including my step-father. He has (what I think is) a Model 92B 9mm. No issues from it.

I'd say it's probably a safe buy... just don't pay too much for it. It IS a Taurus after all.

I hope this helped and good luck!

I think the plural is Taurus's because it's a name so you just add an 's'. You also add an apostrophe because the last letter before the 's' is an 's', even though it's not possessive.

I could be wrong. haha.

Actually SPDSKTR was right. You pluralize a word (even a name) ending in S with "es."
