Why would someone go thru the trouble to mount an intercooler on their car when it is not turbo?

dam, hes right around the corner I should go check it out. Hope he knows that ^&#* is restricting air flow, since he has no forced induction. Then 195k, then a rebuilt head, good lord.
Guaranteed he will be faster if someone kicked in that intercooler ;-) |
