My Ride: 2001 BMW 330xi sedan
hey everyone have a coolant leak!!!!!!

It loses coolant frequently but does not over heat im thinking expansion tank but not sure whats another reasonable cause? Any help is appreciated

The expansion tank will leave quite a lot of coolant on the floor and not much in the car. I vote for a leaky hose.

Have your coolant system pressure tested. I had a bad cap on the expansion tank. I noticed residue around the neck of the expansion tank. I replaced the tank as well.
