Stupid light question...

Im new to this whole projector light thing I can't tell whether or not mine has projectors. When my lights are on they are kind of blue. If these aren't projectors I'd probably change them if they are then I just want to add halos. Does anyone have suggestions for halos that look oem and fit easily and well. Third question is it'd like to change my stock fog lamps but haven't seen much here about fog lamps any suggestions that work well and look OEM?

If you searched youd find your answer quickly but yes you have OEM projectors, If you want angel eyes Go umnitza

You can get an HID kit for the fogs to match your headlights and you can get angel eyes to fit into your headlights as well. You have BOSCH/AL projectors and they are likely to simply be single xenon and auto-leveling.

Umnitza - your angel eyes are LED right are they better than CCFL? And is there any advantage to changing the whole piece?

Sorry to ask so many questions but I havent had a car in 4 years so I'm learning but a lot of sites seem to have conflicting info. and nothing i had before was this complicated!

Quick summary:

Looks like you have single xenon projector headlights. They're fine.
Angel eyes are an unnecessary modification you do not need. They attach to your existing headlights.

LED angel eyes are brighter then ccfl and draw less energy and also pose less risk for fire.

I don't think you should be worrying about any of this until you start to know the E46 model little bit better.

Only the Facelifted Coupes came with Projectors standard. BUT Xenon was still an option. They came with projectors with a halogen bulb as standard.

Xenon was an option for ALL E46s, no E46 ever came with Xenon standard, not even M3.

For all models but Facelift coupe, xenon option had to include projector headlights.

Only the Facelifted Coupes came with Projectors standard. BUT Xenon was still an option. They came with projectors with a halogen bulb as standard.

Xenon was an option for ALL E46s, no E46 ever came with Xenon standard, not even M3.

For all models but Facelift coupe, xenon option had to include projector headlights.

+1 also, facelift coupes with xenons also came with adaptive xenons (not just up and down but also left and right)

Yes, you have projectors. Single xenon if it's a 328i.

None of the current halos look OEM. They're all bright as the face of the sun and look entirely non-OEM. Avoid them like The Plague.

Ah-ha! Theres the info i was looking for! My research said 328i being pre-facelift came stock with non-projectors so it was confusing me.

Is there a good solution for an OEM look with halos? Most of the ones I've seen on here look decent but thats an online picture.

there's been a recent influx of anti-angel eyes on this forums..
anyways, I got mine from Khoalty and I like them a lot, these were the "cheap" $50 which they no longer sell because of quality issues although mine are still perfectly fine after a year.
