I haven't really been that happy with the direction they've been going this season. I like the addition of mos def, but I feel like there's been a bunch of BS story line fillers all season long.

Deb will end up banging the new detective, her ex fvcked up when he smashed that girl, she will come into play soon. Surprised Dexter let him go, he is assisting every murder. That's like saying Manson is innocent because he had his cult kill, not him. He'll end up killing him though, I think he has twin personalities. Beginning of the episode old man was bleeding when he looked at him, 5 seconds later he wasn't. There's a reason Dex hasn't mentioned info to the police. They're setting up Dexter killing Travis without MPD knowing.

I think the professor mentored him at Tallahassee and they became close, and his other personality killed the professor which is why he's been missing 3 years. Now the professors teachings are his other personality. He says he's too weak to kill. Yet set the trap and watched the girl fall to her death, the body parts chopped two different ways. It can't be a figment of his imagination and two very different cut techniques, he either has a split personality or the professor is alive.

Anyone else get a feeling the new detective is smart enough to catch on to dexter? When dexter kills Travis and no one ever finds the doomsday killer don't you think the new guy will be a little suspicious? Especially since it seems he has already taken some interest in how talented dexter is. I'm also wondering if the new computer savvy intern is going to come into play. I've always wondered if anyone is ever going to notice the searches for people dexter does, then figure out those people are all missing. Just trying to figure out who is going to make things complicated for dexter this year. Anyone else have any ideas?

The portion w/ Quinn and the other teacher he banged is definitely going to come into play, I think they showed something like that in the season preview. I think it's only going to get more complicated. Has anyone else read the episode headlines for the rest of the season? Final episode is titled "This Is the Way the World Ends" I know the whole season has been leading up to this apocalypse, end of the world. I'm curious to see if it is possibly the end of Dexter's double life--his second world; he gets caught. There is speculation this may be the last or second to last season.

The show has been good this season compared to regular shows but nothing compared to it's own previous seasons. They need to step it up soon. I love the Gellar theories. My addition is that I think the professor (remember her box of memories) will somehow see Travis and alert Quinn to Travis being involved in Gellar's disappearance/death. This will lead to MPD getting close to Dexter going after Travis.

But I do hope they make this one of the last seasons, end up on top and not drag it out. Considering only the first season is based off the books it hard to tell what direction they'll go with it.

So the show has definitely succeeded in completely changing routes this season.

It has to be a new person on his conscience, no way he's alive. I'll be mad if he is.

You know the plot is good when nobody posts about the blonde that Quinn brought to the party.
