Steering wheel

if I have DUAL STAGE SMART square airbag on square steering wheel do I need to buy Connecting line, airbag / slip ring (32 30 1 097 246) to change it to M3 steering wheel.

I searched but I am still confuse.

i don't think that you need to retrofit cable....just not sure about the dual stage airbag...for my 2002 x5, it also had the square airbag, so i had bought a new round airbag and an m3 wheel...just plugged everything in and it worked fine...as for if it was dual or single stage? no idea...
