The regulations depend on what state and what county your in and they change year to year. The deer that only has 7 points is a legal deer where I hunt. It is legal because it has at least 4 points on one side. Doe's you can shoot as many as you have tags for.

Nice I wish I had the money to go after big game. Out of state licenses are expensive, plus tags, plus travel, plus butcher. it adds up quick. Im temporarly located in wyoming and i wanted to get a tag and license for elk but it would have wound up costing me around 900 for them.

I hunt deer.

This guy is safe from me (too small for me to shoot, personally), but still fun to watch

This is off the trail camera by my tree-stand over the last couple of weeks.

I used to hunt turkey, deer, and dove when I was younger. I've killed a couple deer and more dove than I can count, but I never bagged a turkey; their eyesight is amazing and they're VERY cautious about where they walk. I've grown out of it now, but it was fun at the time. I have better things to do than get up at the ass crack of dawn to go sit in a stand in 30^o weather. It's about as exciting as a round of golf for me (read: not at all), but it sucks even worse because you have to get up so early.

Going hunting this weekend with my father-in-law and one of my brother-in-law's. Using a different rifle this year....a 30-06 instead of the 7mm Remmy that I used last year.

I killed two deer in one year when I was around 16. Didnt use a rifle or a bow either.

I think hunting is great, as long as you kill what you eat. If not then it's pretty ****ed up.

Where I live, at least, everyone eats what they kill. It's a total waste if you don't.

well Ive been hunting but never killed a deer while hunting. I guess Im not very good I just like being outdoors more so than killing shlt.

same here, I have seen people shoot birds and squirrels just to kill them, which I think is ****ed up.

Guilty. I used to do it when I was younger (13-14). We would try to save the squirrel meat but I've killed my fare share of birds for fun. You find things to do when you're 14 years old roaming around a 1000 acre farm.

I shoot ground squirrels with my pellet gun. There's an infestation here every spring and early summer and they destroy lawns and crops and spread disease. They're no different from rats. They're fun as heck to shoot, too.

^ You should invest in a .17 HMR if you think they're fun to shoot with a pellet gun. Easily the best varmint gun out there and a blast to shoot.

I've never killed a deer, although I've hunted the piss out of them. The last shot I took at a deer, I shivered right before I squeezed the trigger and shot right under her.

I've killed several pheasants, two rabbits, a couple squirrels, a few raccoons, a couple opossums, and a few groundhogs. All raccoons, groundhogs, and opossums were trapped and used for training dogs. The raccoon hides were sold later on.

Of course, I had a handful of cougars.

didn't you post a pic of you with a gun and one of your "victims" ? I think I remember that.

All of the cougar comments are kinda funny - because cougar hunting is a very real thing here.
