My Ride: SC'd e46 & 2011 5.0
FS: 328i '99 supercharged & meth cooling w/ TCKline SA suspension, etc. (wa state)

E46 1999 328i Inline6 Supercharged 4 door sedan 5 speed manual
located in Newcastle-Bellevue, Wa. $9,500

Contact brycerichertatgmail.(com) if interested

269 HP and 240 TQ at rear wheels with fully adjustable suspension
(309 and 270 at crank)

Link to many pictures of the car, inside and out

Everything operates very nicely on this car. This has been my pride and joy but a faster car has knocked it from its perch :-(

Very nice adjustable system for Daily Driver or turn the knobs for more advanced tight sport.

136,xxx miles.... Very well maintained and very diligent about fixing anything and everything that ever comes up.

Any BMW related maintenance (work needing BMW technical knowledge, in other words) has been done at Eastside Bavarian in Issaquah. Any suspension, brake work or oil changes are done at home. Any non-BMW experience required work (door regulator, air conditioning, etc., performed at local shop)
Always used 5-30w Mobile 1 Synthetic and changed at 5-6k

This car has a VF Supercharger installed, rock solid. If you shift before 3500 you would have a hard time noticing that it was so equipped. If you keep on it until 6800 it will keep with a 335 or e46 M3. The supercharger oil has been changed every 7K as per manufacturer. Rerouted SC oil line so it is available on top of the engine so the oil change can all be done from the top. The car pulls. Will include oil extractor, extra filters and cases of Mobile1 Synthetic with car.

This car has an adjustable TCKline suspension and camber. Very easy to adjust or just leave alone.

(This is the left right shock uncovered in the trunk as an example to show you where the rear is adjustable. Please see pictures linked to below for stock appearance.)

Paint is very, very good

BMWCCA Member # 360904 if references are needed

Power and suspension:

  • M52TU I6 engine.

  • VF V3 supercharger with high flow injectors installed in 2008 at Speedware Motorsports in Redmond, Wa. System is a conservative 6psi if taken to 6800 RPM, so internals are good.

  • 310 hp and 270 torque at crank

  • 269 hp and 236 torque at wheels (Dyno sheet from CarbConn in Kirkland included to show SC effect, not like you won't feel it)

  • Devil's Own Methanol injector installed to cool charge intake if held at high rpm's for long time. It picks up from the windshield washer reservoir and small control is in front of the shifter, hidden behind the close down. Pump is installed in the e46 hidden compartment. The entire system is very stealth.

  • UCC sway bars front and back

  • UCC short shifter with stock boot and knob.

  • TCKline Camber plates (adjustable up to 3 degrees, picture below)

  • TCKline single adjustable suspension (damper adjustment) with 550 lb springs on back and 500 lb on fronts. The car is height adjustable and damper adjustable on all corners. The car can easily be corner balanced

  • Urethane Powerflex bushings in the front control arms.

  • Remus Axle-back Exhaust with adjustable valve for race or sport sound. This car can sound very tame for daily driving or track gurgling when deep into the peddle depending on adjustment.

  • Optional sets of of tires mounted on wheels available, (One set Kosei and other set BMW OEM) with Toyo RA1's.

  • Current brake fluid is DOT4 Blue. Will include brake bleeder system for easy brake flushing.

  • (All original suspension parts included, if needed)

    Other:

  • Pioneer Premier head with MP3 disk and usb inputs in glove box. Bluetooth phone easy to pair with mic near driver visor. Original head and cd changer included.

  • Wired for radar from rearview mirror and wired for any usb appliance near drivers side window.

  • Daily drive wheels are ASA1's with 255's in back and 235's in front. Please see pictures.

  • Have extra rotors that will go with the car, current rotors are cross drilled, pretty much for bling. I can include extra brake pads as well, including Hawk DTC30 for all four corners.

  • Recent usual BMW type Maintenance work performed:

  • Entire air conditioning overhaul with new new AC compressor, AC accumulator, receiver drier & R1341A charged.

  • New harmonic balancer installed August 2011. Re-designed updated unit, no hub - bolted directly to the crankshaft)

  • Oil filter gasket replaced (SC removed and reinstalled) August 2011.

  • All spark plugs and ignition coils in July 2010

  • New rear right window regulator, 2010.

  • Entire aux fan assembly replaced in 2009.>

  • Water pump replaced in 2009 with metal impeller long life type

  • Valve cover gasket replaced in 2008

  • Fuel Filter 2008

  • Thermostat in 2007

  • Clutch done in late 2006

  • Cam sensor in late 2006

  • Typical BMW car options....probably more than aren't listed here from factory:

  • Leather, all seats in VERY good condition, please see pictures below.

  • Xenon headlights

  • original CD head with trunk changer (can supply with car if needed)

  • Ski passthrough in back and seats go down

  • Original spare tire in back and all tools are present

  • Both seats are power in all directions, with memory on the driver's side. All seats and electrical systems work and are in great condition. (please refer to pictures)

  • Sun roof opens and closes very well including the shade that autocloses with it. No binding, no nothing. Very smooth. Please review pictures below)

  • Link to many pictures of the car, inside and out

go check your facts. the 2011 GT holds an outstanding skid pad and it's almost as quick around a track as e92 M3.

people and there brand *****ness

facts? what facts?
1st off, even if it did handle better, it still feels like a cheap POS once i sit inside and close the door. i still say besides cadillac, the C6 vette, and SOME of the domestic trucks, my 11 year old BMW's interior still feels better and looks better quality than some 2011 domestic cars, the mustang included. They still have the cheap plastic look that 90s German cars were already moving away from.

secondly, its more than numbers to me bro, it may be faster thru those tests, but how does it feel, how is the feedback through the wheel, the shifter, the seat of the pants.
these are the things that make people rave about cars like the E30 M3 even when the current model does everything quicker. Thats what im loyal to, not so much the brand. Its another reason why im hesitant to move up to a E9x model.

and its their brand... not there brand. banghead on that.
