DIY: hid retrofit on a budget! (for halogen lights)

get the E46-R shrouds. You needs to crazy glue the shroud onto the outside plastic part of the actual projector lense

H7 halogen have two prongs. H1s only have one. They wont fit. Further, H1 halogens will not fit in the Morimoto H1s.

nope. HID bulbs are longer and more slim than a halogen bulbs. These Morimoto's will only work with HIDs.

Just get the hid kit and hid bulbs, your car will have the same functionality as a car that came with xenons from factory.

If u order the kit from TRS u follow the walk through ...if u want high beams ( y not?) Use wire taps and tap into your high beam stock wires. Any questions call andrew from TRS or message me.

LED smoked tails, smoked fender markers, morimoto mini retrofit, matte black grills, LED plate lights.

the most difficult part for me was getting dust in the projector and figuring out that the larger of the two rubber washers was just too big. Everything is else is cake.

the hardest part for me was taking out and putting back the headlight bowls into the headlight housing because I was scared of breaking something lol

Still wont pass the inspection we have here every year, if the car didnt have Hid stock, it doesnt work, sadly!

I wasn't liking the graphite mini gatling so i picked up the e46 extended, and had to dremel about .75" off the top of the shroud for a good fit. Much happier. I think the mini graphite would look pretty nice on headlights with angel eyes.
