BMW's supply of the genuine ZHP retro fit kit has been completely depleted according to our sources. I would check with anyone who is currently stocking the kit to insure it is the original BMW kit containing only genuine BMW parts. The genuine BMW kits which I have seen sell recently were thanks to a dealer or supplier having one sitting on the shelf collecting dust waiting on someone to ask for it.

well i hope this BMW dealership in vegas sold me a genuine BMW suspension kit
or else...
waiting for delivery now
unfortunately i had to shell out $600 (with shipping)... but seeing as how the kit is no longer available, i had to jump on it

now i'm just trying to make sure i have everything ready...
about to buy a set of zhp springs (i guess they're the same as the sports package springs?) from a member here
and... i read in another thread that i should replace the rear shock mount when i install this kit?
anything else?

^ are these for the FRONT control arms? there's a section for rear control arms... front control arm only has the expensive performance set

They probably had it hanging out on their shelf. Most dealerships are not going to try to be crafty.

The Meyle parts are great, with most of their parts the OEM design is followed but beefed up a little. I highly suggest them if you are looking at aftermarket components.

hmm... have not received a shipping confirmation for the zhp suspension kit... only order confirm and it is still "processing" ...

I was an idiot not to buy the zhp suspension kit while it was available.
No way I'm getting the shock kit available now - about the same stuff minus the control arms for about the same price.
I'll have to buy the control arms kit and coilovers (most likely KW V1) - a lot more expensive, but at least a better option.

i got the kit from atlanta bmw ... but i doubt they still have one in stock
as far as i know... they had TWO in stock when i ordered mine
and i think one of the guys who PMed me for info ordered the last one

Yeah, ill be doing my own search this Friday - work + school = no free time for now.

I have called the BMW dealer in Las Vegas (after placing an on-line order) just to find out they actually DID NOT have the kit in stock (website showed as available) I don't have to tell you how disappointed I was. But I got a lead on a kit down in CA. After calling them up I found out the kit they had was actually put on "hold" for a customer but somehow they were able to track one down for me. Give them a call and ask for Zach; he has gone an extra mile helping me out (714) 835-3171.

finally got around to ordering and receiving my shock mounts and control arm bushings
taking the car in tomorrow early ... hopefully the entire suspension swap can be done in a single day

btw... i ordered meyle front strut mounts ... but i received sachs brand ones
(the meyle ones are backordered on the website now)
price wise, the sachs are more expensive... so did i come out ahead? sachs > meyle?
