Are you sure the gas cap was on tight after you got gas? That will definitely throw codes. Don't top off either.

It was tight, and I only filled about 1/2 a tank. I even checked the cap multiple times and it was firmly secured. I'm kind of worried about the other codes related to the O2 or CAT. Does that mean that my cat is blocked/cooked. like I said earlier I haven't noticed any bogging or abnormal gas consumption issues so far, but it might be just a little while before I start noticing these kind of symptoms!! Any suggestions, or where should I start first?

Thanks

This is the weirdest thing ever happened and I don't have any explanation to why it cleared!! Yesterday after work I reset the oil change service light which displayed service mileage in the minus about ~ -77778, after moving the ignition key to position 1 while holding the odometer reset knob down for 5 seconds, let go and then holding again for another 5 sec .... The oil change service light was reset and this procedure cleared the service engine soon light !!!!!! Im not sure why but it was cleared. I'm not sure if this is a permanent fix but the light is gone now. I'll keep you updated if the SES light comes back again. Does it mean that not reseting the oil service light triggered all the codes above?! It's kind of weird and how it happened I'm clueless!!! Can someone explain?????

Thanks!!

Clear the stored coded and see what comes back. The codes are still there even if the ses light goes off.

Light came on after fuel was added. It happened to me few times, even if you open and closed the lid, will take from few miles to couple days to clear the fault, then yellow goes off too. I don't know about reseting service counter will clear a fault, however if you do have problems, codes will remain in the system, you may get yellow light again.

I cleared the stored codes, still no SES light, but after checking with OBD tool after a couple of days there was a pending code P0430 only.
Do u have any other suggestions? Again SES light is not present anymore!!

Some thread suggested replacing the post O2 sensor cylinder (4-6), is there a way to test before replacing? my OBDII provide the O2 sensors test, but what voltage should I expect from a good post O2 sensor. How can I determine if it's the O2 sensor or the CAT (hope not)?

Thanks

I'm not sure, but check for exhaust leaks. There might me new cats in your future, or an AA tune which eliminates that code.

AA eliminate the code!! but what if there are problems with the CAT or O2? I will check for exhaust leaks.
