[Questions]Leather re-paint
Planning on re-painting interior door and seats leather.
First question is how do I find out what leather color I have? I know it's black but there are like 5 black color options. Second questions is if anyone tried to re-painting leather into another color. I was thinking about " Imola Red" for door trim and outer seat parts. Not sure how it may turn out |

I'm pretty sure any of our regular E46s with black leather are color code N5SW. I know mine is. I'm guessing the other codes are for custom versions of black interiors -- perhaps for the BMW Individual program.

Painting doors seems easy and should stay well. Painting seats, is scary because you get in and out of the car few times a day. Wonder if re-painted seats will wear off |

Do more researching. It's a very very dedicated project that can go very wrong.
