I hear you about the door dings - the civic sits on campus all day in Milwaukee - I could give two shits if someone hits it or not..... though in reality the fact that they do still bothers me, cause I know if it was nice out - that would have been the BMW!!!

My 323i is worth like $4-5k, so it's my Bavarian snowmobile again this winter. My FWD cars previous to my e46 sucked balls in the snow, no way in hell I'm going back to a car like those. Worst case scenario is my e46 blows up and I grab a $200 set of snows, reassemble the miata and have a winter full of tail happy fun.

I don't know man - all the cars I have ever owned - including some AWD and 4WD - and the civic with some blizzaks is the best handling in the snow for me.

Bro I honestly know just how you feel!!! I'm rolling in my 95 red body parts beat to s*** integra! Oh yeah and somebody just backed into the driver side door last week! Got me $625 cash but left me with even more body damage.

lol 625? thats more than i even paid for my winter car lol. and i feel ya, theres no way april could come soon enough

I have a little Nissan truck to putter around on the bad days, but the ///M still gets me around 80% of winter. Damn thing is too much fun to put away for four months lol.

lol, had i not wrecked my engine with you guys, mine would probably be out a little bit over winter, just for some fun after fresh snow, but i dont expect to have it going until a little before spring.... :-(. i could see taking it out once in a while, but i think your crazy to just drive your ///m all winter...

Even if I had a truck or something, I wouldn't be able to leave the bimmer sit for 4 months. Like was said, it's just too much fun.

I'm about to turn 191k and I average 35k miles a year, so I'm now in the "I wonder how many miles I can put on this car before I upgrade to a z4/e90/f30" mindset.

I want to get another e46 sedan and then I might be interested for the winter vehicle. I would much prefer rolling in a 325xi through the winter months than a RED integra!

Any one interested in a Radar&Lidar Counter measure package?

I'm trying to find a Z4 for next summer, so I think my 323i will become my winter beater once I prove successful.
I did however just get a full set of Blizzaks on steelies for the Miata for $150 thanks to Craigslist. Now where's the fvcking snow and an empty parking lot?!
