Overall internals are much better looking than the October bounce. ECB meeting on the 8th should push things higher. Eyeing 1300 SPX before a meaningful pullback.

Market looked a bit frothy this morning. I doubt we'll get to 1300...maybe 1280ish while fund managers chase for performance before year end. Early part of 2012 could get a bit ugly if the Euros don't get their crap together.

I'll get pretty long with a retest of 1235. Elliott wave says 1340. Not so sure about that. We'll see.

Kush, what's your time frame?

I don't mind holding onto something for two weeks to a month. I'm long on VHC right now. Should have bought at ~13 tomorrow we'll see where the lawsuit with Apple goes.

What are you studying?

Dcha, what do you think about a temporary trade of NFLX? Looks like it has temporarily bottomed out.

Looks like a relief rally to me. Only way I'd make a swing trade is if it regained the 20sma. I wouldn't do anything longer than that because margins are squeezing their platform. Not to mention the USPS news. EPS is going to be really bad come Q1 report. They'll do a buyback in the near future and be a $20 stock again.

Best play I have right now is SODA. 2012 rollout to TGT, M, and BBBY. 53% short interest. Could be the ultimate short squeeze.

EURUSD channel break direction should be your outlook for the week.
POT had good risk/reward because if it breaks the low it's going to dive, but you have potentially more upside than downside risk if it doesn't break the low. The trick was to get long there and hold it into resistance where you would lighten up because of the risk of a smackdown. When it made a confirmed break of a trendline, you'd get back in for a massive short squeeze.
SODA was pushing into the trend line and with a break of that we were looking for a move.

Most of this is null and void now after today. EURUSD broke the channel down and here we are.

What would you say about POT in January? Seems like they do well around then.
