Help w/ brake squeal and wheel vibration
So I was driving my car and noticed that my brakes are squeaking pretty loudly. Obviously my first thought was to replace the brake pads, however I had recently replaced all pads and rotors (within the last month) and they don't seem to be anywhere close to shot. I also noticed excessive steering wheel shake when applying the brakes at higher speeds (getting off the freeway at 60+ mph). After checking the calipers to check for locking, I found everything to be in working order, yet it still has rough braking. Any ideas as to what could be causing the problem? I'd appreciate your input on this! Thanks in advance

your problem could be warped brake disc , an idea could be to change your brake disc .

I have the same issue with mine as well. I am figuring on warped rotors or you have knocked a wheel weight out. I seem to get a slight shake in my steering wheel when just driving, that I am figuring is a wheel weight is thrown off.
Hope this helps |

Hey all, thanks for the responses. I replaced the brake disc and it seems to have helped the brake squeak. As for the wheel vibration, it feels better but not perfect. Nothing that I can't get over. I might take it in for an alignment to see if that helps.
