FS: OE Shark Fin with Satellite Antenna Retrofit

I retrofitted a Sirius satellite antenna into an OE E46 Shark Fin. This is a great way to get excellent satellite reception while retaining a stock appearance. Color is Silver Grey A08. $65

Adhesive tape, double-sided (84508021110) available from dealer for around $7 required for installation. I removed it because I no longer use Satellite Radio.

Is this still available? Would the Shark fin antenna with retrofit cable plug into the stock antenna adapter on our car? Thanks.

I don't think it will work. The antenna and cable is for Sirius satellite reception. I don't think it will even fit a standard FM input.

The Sirius antenna wire enters the trunk like the OE BMW Assist. It exits the rear of the fin, goes down the rear window under the weather stripping, then enters the trunk through a hole in the trunk channel that has a rubber seal. It enters the trunk vicinity the stock CD Changer location, behind the trunk interior panel.
