DIY rear view mirror help
So I accidently broke my rear view mirror taking the the automatic shifter. I pulled straight up and hit my mirror, and it fell off nothing broke. Now I'm having trouble reconnecting it to the windshield. Has anyone done this before? Can you give me some tips? Thanks in advance

Did it break clean off the windshield, with its base and all?

I ended up figuring it out. I put a dab of gorilla glue, it goes on at an angle, and twisted it counterclockwise to lock it in.

Okay, but im a little confused b/c there is a little electric unit on the windshield that gets in the way when i try to turn it. I think its the light sensor and windshield wiper sensor. Maybe yours doesnt have that... If you do have it, howd you get around
It? I appreciate the help btw. |

Mine had the rain sensor also, I got the mirror attached the windshield then installed the plastic housing surrounding the base / sensor. Snap a pic where your having trouble and I might be able to help
