DIY - E46 M3 Vorsteiner V-CSL Front Bumper Parts List for 03.5 - 06
Well, I recently purchased the Vorsteiner V-CSL front bumper with the single piece carbon fiber lip not realizing it wouldn't fit onto my 05 M3 carrier. I read slixx1320's DIY post about how to mount it to that.
However, I'd rather not drill into the bumper or mess with the stock Kevlar bumper carrier in order to get the best fitment. So with the help of Sean from Vivid Racing I was able to compile a list together of parts needed. Hopefully this helps with your install, even though I think Vorsteiner has stopped making V-CSL bumpers I have posted a table of parts and links to the diagrams. HOPE IT HELPS!

So the VCSL bumper you picked up was it a V1 or V2? With the V2 bumper you have to convert your 05 set up to an 01-02 with all the above parts except the aluminum carrier PN#51118195300.
With the V1, you can go either way for the install due to no built in carrier but will have to glue the foam bar onto the bumper as they use suction cups instead of ASA bolts. Last edited by slixx1320; 12-21-2011 at 05:33 PM. |
