My Ride: 03 325i (non-sport)
Coil Springs, Bavarian Auto Sport, BMW E46 - $125

Lowering Springs for BMW 325i E46 (non sport). Only 5000 miles on 03' 325i, a bit too low for me. But really improved handling.

Verbage from BAS

"Lower your BMW without sacrificing comfort. We had a tough time finding lowering springs that gave us both the improved handling we craved and the ride comfort we wanted. So we developed our own springs! They're made specifically for drivers who want the aggressive look and better handling of lowering springs, but not the harsh ride associated with most sport springs. They'll lower your BMW an average of 30 mm (about 1 1/4''). Engineered and manufactured in Germany of cold-rolled silicon steel, they're finished with a durable powder coat in Bavarian Autosport red. Bavarian Autosport. Part Number SK E466 016"

Will ship at cost to lower 48 states. $30-35 (shipping estimate from east to west coast, may be less)

$125 o.b.o.

Alas, I never did take pics. The springs lowered the car a lot in my opinion, a lot meaning too much. Just about to the top of the tires (225/45 - 18), more than the 1.25 inches suggested by BA. The car handled noticeably better. I also replaced the shocks and struts when I made the changeover, (Koni STR.T.), These are not too stiff but were recommended with the lower springs and the old shocks and struts had over 100,000 miles.

I went back to standard set up as my car was in a pitched battle with the steep driveways in my town and pretending to be snow plow clearing the snow during one of the worst winter in 12 years. These springs were highly recommended and I had to replace my two rear broken springs anyway. Luckily my mechanic did not make fun of me when I switched back.

I just want them to be in a good home with someone who can use them.
