Hello
Just joined this form got my frist BMW about a year ago and just now got around to joining a form its a 2005 E46 M3 convertible figured might as well get an M3 if i am going to get a BMW. I have already done some mods. H&R springs AFE cold air intake, tent, blacked out side markers, vent, and grill. still looking for more mods any ideas?

yeah but every time i look i find 2 things the rings only or the entire head light i just want to find someone who has them that can explain whats the best option or what they have.

Well there are many DIY on here. But basically you open the headlight and they have clips to place them in front of the housing, and then you just splice them to get power.

![]() As for the choice of AE's, since you've got '05 M3 you've should have oem projector lights already fitted, so forget about getting the full new replacement assemblies, you'd just be downgrading. Go for the individual AE rings installation. Like mentioned above, there's heaps of DIY's on how to install these and it's pretty simple once you've read a few and checked out all the pics. The final choice you'll need to decide is whether you want CCFL or LED. The CCFL's give a nice soft standard oem look where as the LED's give a great bright stand out look. I personally like the LED's because they can still be seen clearly in daylight as opposed to CCFL's which can't, but hey that's my preference and each to their own. Have a look at a few threads and see what you like.
