Might be picking up an E28, a pair of them rather.

Long story short, a local guy who owns a paint/body shop has a pair of E28's for sale. 1986 535i 5mt and 1987 535is 5mt. Me and a buddy (six2midnight) might be picking them up if they check out. Haven't seen them in person yet nor has he sent detailed pics. According to him they have no rust, great paint, freshly rebuilt motors, need nothing etc. Would love to have a new DD. Anything in particular we should look for when checking them out? I've been cruising mye28.com but haven't seen any stickied threads about common problems. I'll attach a few lame picks I have of them.

Thanks! I'm excited to get into something new. From what I read those M30's are tanks and this will be my first car with LSD so it should be fun

check for damaged oil pans, busted rear springs, all the normal BMW stuff. the M30 is a pretty bulletproof.
