2005 330CI Tranny Help!! Which Fluid to use!

Hello, I have a 2005 330CI with the ZHP package. I would like to change my ATF fluid, filter, and gaskets. I am familiar with the process of the change and everything but I am unsure of which model transmission I have or which fluid I need. I went under the car and took a picture of the sticker on the transmission which I will post. The P/N on the transmission is 83220024359. Also, depending on the type of transmission, does the filter for example vary and what color transmission label do I have, green or blue? Your help is greatly appreciated. thanks

its a GM transmission so use Dexron VI
it was supposed to be Texaco ETL 8072B, but BMW discontinued it and replace it with just plain Dexron VI.

Thanks, just for my own knowledge, how can you tell its a GM tranny and do you know what color the label is supposed to be?

they did away with the ZF transmission after 2003 I think and replaced all of them with GM transmission.
yours is green, and the part number matches the GM transmission part number

ZF transmission has blue stickers.

get yourself a filter kit (includes new bolts and pan seal), and 13 qt's of reputable Dexron VI do a double flush.

Just confirmed yesterday I have the same part #. Dealer said use Dexron vi. They we trying to sell it to me at 17 a liter. I know getbmwparts.com said during my research the sell mobile 1 Dexron vi. I get my oil change kit from them may buy dexron vi from there I think it's 8 -9 bucks liter.

lam also very curious if anyone can chime in that uses Redline D4 if they have considered changed over to Redline D 6 for their Auto GM tranny?

Or is D 6 not compatible?

Amazon has the Vavoline synthetic ATF Dexron VI cheap and good. No tax or shipping charge.

I have seen pictures of the ZF and GM transmissions. The pictures show different transmission pans. Can I assume that you can tell which transmission is on the car by the transmission pan...or would this be incorrect. Also, is there any recommendation on tranny fluid for the ZF?
