One xenon projector dimmer than the other! HELP!

So i just noticed that my passenger side xenon project head light is dimmer than the other side. I have been searching the forum and came upon to discover that the bulb could be the culprit. Is there anything else that could be causing this? And inputs will be appreciated! thanks!

What year is your car? It could be a burned zkw bowl. Do your projector lenses have a horizontal line going across them or are they completely clear?

there could be two possibilities. 1) your headlight is going bad. you need to get it replace. HID goes dim when they are dying. Usually, you also have to replace the HID in pair (for color matching)
the other possibiilty is the zkw bowl being burnt.

good luck and i hope this helps!

Then it is probably just a bulb getting old. Maybe at some point one was replaced and not the other. The line across the projector means they are bosh projectors and you don't have to worry about the bowls being burnt. Replace the bulbs in pairs. Try theretrofitsource.com for bulbs. I recommend the Philips 4300k oem bulbs.

if your HID bulb is indeed going bad then I recommend getting the Philips 5K. You still get the bluish tint without sacrificing on the brightness. 5K-6K is a safe bet but 4.0-5.0K has the best light output (lumens).

Now I just drove my car and found out the passenger side headlight is completely not on.. It wouldn't be a ballast issue would it?

Replace both bulbs from a sponsor. I think a pair of D2S 6000K will fix you right up. Been there done that. DO NOT GO TO BMW FOR BULB REPLACEMENT.
