smaller??? Mine is huge, No didn't have to trim the tube. I run no fogs or the inner part of the bumper. I just run a bumper, Nothing more.

What are the dims on the filter?

Also, have you ever dyno'd on/off the spray? I'd love to see exactly how a 75 shot translates, especially in the torque department...

I'll get ya specs on the filter shortly. This AFE filter was just released. Took me nearly a month to get it. No, I haven't dyno'd like that. However, I will do a balls out N/A with a shark tune. Then take the shark off and over lay some juicy runs

That's almost exactly the same dimensions as the one I have coming.

Length 5.813 inches
Inlet Flange Inside Diameter 6.000 inches

Looking for some pictures of side exhaust bmws! If anyone has them, I've looked but only found a few. Found the jaffster build, I think that is the most reasonable way to do it. Thinking a single pipe with a merger would be easier than doing duals? Kinda at a loss with the exhaust...

Try this, it may take some time to fabricate; but I think it'll make POWWA !
