Dinan wrapped tube. I tried to make my own long tube, you need a manufacturing process to do it correctly. Injen has the best intake out in my opinion. But, they don't make one for 330s.

I don't want to mislead people, I currently have no inner fender lining on the drivers side of the car. I never run a fog light, I don't have the inner black lower grill part, either. I don't have a brake duct atm for the left side. This IS NOT PLUG N PLAY.

Thanks Rob, is it fitting ok? Any cutting required? (that's a no-no per our class rules)

Honestly, mine is sitting on a chair, it won't be in the car for at least a week or two. So as to making it fit, only time will tell.

If the pipe were a bit shorter, would it work with the fender lining and brake ducts?

A fog light is 100% out of the question. Possible fender lining. You will need to cut/not run the corner under shields for the bumper. Brake duct no way. This filter is nearly 8inches in places. The shorter the pipe the more issues.

So you're saying there isn't enough room if the filter were an inch or two higher, high enough to clear brake ducts?

Sounds to me like the Dinan would be my only option then, without a velocity stack, or even using a Dinan-style filter, but pulling the velocity stack back to near the MAF, with a 3.5" to 6" adapter in front of it. Seems like that may cause more problems in terms of air velocity than it helps.

Ok going to take a picture, gotta jack the car up to even install this thing, phone broke.. I repeat there is no way for the brake duct to work period.

Looking at this data, this simple velocity stack & new filter may really be worth something.

lol, just don't try and take my refund for adding to the dyno info

pics, really need another set of hands but I did my best! It's not even close. Higher you move that filter up the less room you have. The red circle is where your brake duct is suppose to mount. Any higher that filter will hit the frame.
