btw, sorry for the big threadjack, you're definitely on the right track with your build, but don't forget the suspension! (psst... I have a set of AST 4200s for sale for a good deal...)
When Vorshlag starts working on the custom catted downpipes for the shorty headers I'm planning to use, I'll try to update with that info, for the benefit of everyone else. =] |

Yeah, the TMS shorties, which were designed for the E36. They should bolt up ok, and I think they'll fit, and Vorshlag is planning to work on some custom catted downpipes for them for me. They should help with torque (ok, not hard vs. stock!) which is what I need for autocross purposes, as we don't spend much time at high revs.
Some recent emails I've received indicate I may not need to go quite that exotic, but we'll see, awaiting clarification from the appropriate rules folks... |

Finished maintaining the fuel system. Parts otw are oem radio block off plate. Gas pedal mount. (broke the last one
) few nitrous jets. Lots of body plugs. This is the only update today. What do you guys think? Run a 90 degree fitting off that T towards the motor? Or just a line will be ok? Last edited by xixixi; 02-03-2012 at 05:06 PM. |

I got some cheap fuel hose at auto zone rated for 3.5 bar.. Think I'm asking for trouble? Kinda bugging me, I think I should get some oem line? The oem line had two layers and seemed stronger.

Little update, ordered a Single Probe EGT, CHT, dual guage. From The Sensor Connection. Spoke to a man this morning, very polite and entertained my game of 20 questions

EGT / CHT, great safety device, very useable with a nitrous application.
Question: did you buy the one with the single analog EGT/CHT gauge which only has a "LCD Pointer Resolution: 50°F". Or, did you buy the one with two separate single Digital displays that have a "Resolution: 1°F" ?
