How can i tell? - AUX compatability

Hello Fanatics,

I so tired of listening to the boring radio and i don't know if my stock radio is compatible with having an AUX input installed. My car is 4dr 323i production date 11/1999 and i have the business Cd unit. Any one can tell me if it will support this and a blue tooth without changing the main head unit.

Any help is appreciated.

Dice? Yes.
OEM Auxiliary? No.
OEM Bluetooth? I doubt it. Parrot is cheaper and easier to install, anyway... works just as well.

I heard it has to be the 2002+ HU to support AUX.

guess I got luckly on mine then. I didnt know that till now. I have an 03' and I love it. simple install and works flawlesly. Kinda makes you wonder y they didnt put them in as standard options.

I have an '01 330xi with a Business CD Radio with a date of 09/02 on it. I bought an AUX input and it doesn' seem to work. Should it work in that radio or not. The documentation says production of 09/02 and after and that radio fits that description. I could use an answer if anyone has one.

Just wondering why go with parrot vs a dice mediabridge, the mediabridge is bluetooth ready as well and has the ipod and aux inputs, and a simple enough install for anyone to do

If it has a "mode" button, it's AUX compatible. If it only has a "CD" button, it's not. If you check the P/N, the latest revision (from 05 or 06) will support MP3 CDs.

Hate to say it now but nevermind, my baby just got smashed with a sledge hammer and a bat? About 2 hours ago parked oj my street...... -_- they hit my A pillar myroof window frame on rear door smashed hood grill one of my rims windows one hit went through thr window and through the top of the driver door....wondering if its even gunna be fixed:/ its pretty bad and i couldnt begin to tell who it was i dont think i pissed anyone off THAT bad? Lol im more sadthan anything i had some damn good times in those wheels il try to post pics and hoping for the best...i have NO idea what i would want next if its totalled. Obvi m3 but i dont want that for a dd when i get that i want it for nice days
