N42 cam timing
Hi Guys
I dont know if this has bee covered before, I cant seem to find any refrence to it. I removed the head on my 318 N42 motor. What method can i use to time the cams without the special tool? Also, on the front of the cams are 2 plates that work with the camshaft position sensor. What is the correct orientation for these plates when setting up? Thanks in advance Keith |

Hello
Keith my English is not good but i'll try my best to explain it to you! First we hev two sprockets each sprocket is markd IN(intake side) EX(exhaust side) The hole in plate on the EX must be approximate 2 o'clock on the IN must b on 10 o'clock. Hope this will work for you but if you hev othr option plz let me know man! |
