Inexpensive but still good adjustable rear control arms?
Hey, i'm looking into getting adjustable rear control arms because my car is drop and the camber is destroying my tires.
I'm not really looking for performance parts but just good enough to hold the car and not break. I really just need it to adjust my camber to not kill my tires. I saw some and they were really expensive. I saw some Ebay ones but i'm not sure about them. I was wondering if I can get some input on what brand is good yet still inexpensive and affordable. Thank you in advance for your input. Sent from my best phone on earth using Bimmer |

OP,
I know of nothing cheaper, these are from Forum Sponsor Tire Rack. $158 plus a few bucks for shipping. http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/s...2&autoModClar= Good luck.

Yea thanks. I was looking at that too. But the price for the sponsor forum isn't that much cheaper than on the site.
Kinda still looking and reading up in these Ebay DNA brand. Because it's cheaper but I don't know how good they are. Sent from my best phone on earth using Bimmer |

I just looked, buy the blue ones for $110 shipped FREE.
They'll work fine, if they don't I'll come visit you in the hospital. Seriously, I see NO problem with them, the failure rate is probably no different from the Tire Rack version; 0.00001 %. Good luck.

This is great, i was thinking about those $79 ones too, but this DNA stuff seems better.
I figure, as long as they dont hit anything, none of them will fail, hell, look at the stock ones, that fickle little thing cant be stronger than any cheap aftermarket adjustable one. |

yea. Like I said I wasn't really looking for great performance so that DNA will probably suffice. Just need to save on tires. Expensive these days. i'm goto place an order when I get home. I'll let everyone know how it goes.

got the rear blue dna adjustable lower control arms from ebay this evening. It doesn't look too bad. feel strong. and installed them same day. All i have to say is be prepared it was a ***** to remove 2 bolts. Wish bmw engineering thought of a better way to angle that bolt. but hey thats how mechanics make their money doing something you dont want to do. Anys Just got them installed tomorrow morning will need to align the wheels since I also changed out my tie rods for the fronts. here are some pics of the control arms

Bringing this back up. Anyone with experience on these? I am looking at either the SPC or the eBay ones. Also, on the tirerack page it says -1 and +3 camber with the SPC. Did they mean +1 and -3 camber? I'm tryna get more negative camber lol.
