Do you have the auto dimming rear view mirror? If so... Get Homelink and a compass!

If you watch... You can find them cheaper...

It is a direct swap if you already have an auto dimming mirror!

Thanks for the tip! That's quite a bit more than I want to spend, but I'll look around.
Would this swap directly for my oval M3 mirror? I think the M3 also has a rain sensor there.

The mirror would be a direct swap.

If you want it in the headliner, I would recommend just buying it new from the dealer. The non-sunroof homelinks are pretty rare

Would GNTX-480 mirror from E92 M3 fit an E46? Is the harness still plug and play for those or do they have a different number of pins etc?

Thanks for pointing out the mirror option everyone.
Yes, I think it will be tough to find a Homelink trim for non-sunroof coupe.

I don't think BMW has changed the connector with the E9x. I don't know what GNTX-480 is supposed to mean though

I just did the swap using one just like YeaBMW is selling into my 05 ZCP. My old mirror had BMW Assist so I had to unplug pins 4-7, but the harness and everything else was plug and play. Homelink works perfectly and you can't beat his price, plus you get the compass too which is nice. Let me know if you need any help.
