Yeah, it's nice to see people putting down numbers. It's the principle of the thing for me, now. I have goals that I'm going to hit before I do anything like that.

Little big update. Ordered a new full exhaust. Reason? The magnaflow started rattling and overall has given me nothing but problems. I tried getting it replaced under warranty from Hottexhaust (where I bought it from), but after trying to get in touch with John (manager) 30+ times (literally.) I gave up.

So..what did I go with? Supersprint x-pipe, supersprint resonator, and Eisenmann Race w/ 83mm Le-Mans Tips. A mix of quality, performance, and looks. We can all agree that it's an expensive set-up no doubt, but I think it'll make the most power out of any exhaust other than a 3". Not to mention it's going to sound amazing

I did a lot of research before I made the decision. I was worried that going from a dual 2.5" (magnaflow) to a dual 2" might make me lose power, but I dont think so. What I've learned is that the size of the exhaust doesn't always make more power. For example a dual 2.5" outflows a single 3", but we all know Brady made more power with the 3". Velocity, pipe length, and many other factors can influence power. With this I trust that Supersprint did their homework when making their exhaust. I recently read an old article where a bmw magazine tested about 7 different exhausts for the e36 and the eisenmann and supersprint made the most power over the others except for AA's 3" catback.

No denying the 3" can make a bit more top end power, but honestly I didn't feel like losing more low end and not crazy about the sound it makes. So with this exhaust I'm looking to make about the same top end as I do now with the Magnaflow, especially since the Eisenmann Race is very free flowing, but gain my low end torque back.

AND NO I DIDN'T PAY THE STUPID OUTRAGEOUS PRICE THEY CHARGE HERE IN THE US. I got it from Europe A LOT CHEAPER.

I ordered the Eisenmann with slanted 83mm Le-Mans Tips, they'll look like this:

Here's a car like mine with the csl trunk, but without the Le-mans tips. You can see how the 83mm tips fill out the diffuser nicely:

Waiting for this damn exhaust is brutal

So the 3.64 is in and it feels great. My mpg actually went up 0.2 around town because I use 6th gear more now instead of 5th. I'm sure on the highway it suffers a bit, but it really hauls ass at WOT in 3rd and 4th.

Just a couple pics:

I've got some new plans now that things are starting to come together. I'm trying to get the Setrab/VPD Oil Cooler Kit from Alex323ci. ..I might stick to NA after all.

Right now I'm gathering up money for a JB flywheel/ Clutchmasters Stage 1.

Then looking to do:
Vaio Oil pump
ATI Damper
272/256 Shricks
VAC Stage 3 Head
11:1 CP Forged Pistons
7,200k redline

Other than those I dont see the need to upgrade anything else. The Rods are already forged. Maybe some new ARP head studs and VAC Bearings.

i have a 3.46 diff and its perfect if anything a tad too high with 1st being so short but i do like shifting a lot. unfortunately 85% of my driving is highway so i burn some oil but I'm happy.
