BMW Unveils the M6 Coupe and M6 Convertible with 560hp and 500lb-ft of torque!

The BMW M6 is another one of those iconic BMW models that stands out in every way. The power and performance is there with a 4.4-liter V8 engine featuring M Twin Power technology and producing 560 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. The style is sleek and aggressive featuring double-spoke like styling on the kidney grilles and optional upgrades like Carbon Ceramic Brakes.

The first chance to see this beastly beauty in person is at the Geneva Auto Show in March with the Coupe and at the New York Auto Show in April for the Convertible version. Read on at Bimmerfest.com to get all the details about the 3rd generation M6 and see all the eye candy (photos) you can handle!

If the next M3 looks anything like this, it'll be a quite a winner too.

The roof has got an interesting look, the side of the car is really busy, and the grille badge is unnecessary. But otherwise, it's very aggressive and should put up some interesting numbers. I can't help but notice the car looks so huge though.

Oh please have a six-speed manual gear box as an option, just like the new m5 has.

Never been much of a fan of the original M6, but damn! That coupe looks sexy!

Am not too fond of the shape of the roof, though.

I like it. Not sure about the price though. I would guess $98K with carbon brakes.

That would be awesome but its HIGHLY unlikely that it would be at 98k with carbon brakes. I built the last one with all the options and ran around 120k......

I never looked at them before. I was never in the market. I heard Clarkson talk about it being just over the M5 with less room and what not, and assumed it was just over the price.

Probably gonna sit right around $120K then. I can't see BMW charging more, for the same performance.

Improved looks over the last generation and overall I'd say it looks good, but it's definitely not great. It lacks any unique styling and anything to separate the appearance from any late model asian car. If it weren't for the kidney grills, I'd say it looked like a Lexus with E92 M3 body kit.
