What crap? Haha. If there was snow I wouldn't mind at all. Xi + snows in the snow is awesome.

Sure

You'll have to be sure to make it this year. I found ~150ftlbs of torque over the winter

Maybe you should get Jamie to ride shotgun with you.

Me too. I half considered putting some used all seasons on just to get through the rest of this "winter". Would be better than squishy snows.

Even worse is I went from stock run flats to marshmallow snows. Can't wait for summer compound tires and lightweight wheels to go back on.

Just need to pick up a set of sensors and I'll mount the tires up.

Anybody recommend a good shop to install brakes (Stoptech Kit). I usually go to German Auto Works, but wanted to see where else is reliable? Thanks!

I should mention that I have gone to JB eurotech and they are great, but not the best price-wise.

Go to First Gear Garage in Eden Prairie and DIY it. That'll be the cheapest option and you'll learn some stuff too. I'd be willing to help out if you're interested.

Awesome. I was hoping there was a DIY shop somewhere in the Twin cities. I'd love some help Sam! Are you available the weekend of the 25th? I can't do it this weekend.

How much time do you think it will take to install the rotors, pads and brake lines?

I can't the weekend of the 25th but I can the next one (March 3rd).

As far as time goes, are you just doing rotors pads and lines? Do you already have the parts? This isn't the big brake kit right? Just rotors and pads all around will probably take 1-2hrs tops. I would recommend bleeding the brakes while you're there too.

If you don't already have the lines and there aren't any issues with your lines, I'd recommend not bothering. SS brake lines won't give you any benefits at all unless you are heavily tracking the car.
