My Ride: 2003 BMW 330i ZHP
Feeler: 2003 BMW 330i ZHP - Volks, KW V2

I've been out of the car market for too long. Please help me determine what my car is worth and if it would be better to bring it back to stock or sell it as is. I've got an itch for a convertible, so if I can get the right amount for it all, I may be willing to part ways, we'll see. That's the only reason for selling. I love this car.

Here's the car:

With more pics here:

http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=691878

And the info:

2003 BMW 330i ZHP
Sunroof delete
6 speed
112k miles
KW V2 Coilovers - Approx 10-15k miles on them
19" Volk LE37 8.5" front, 9.5" rear - low offset (have original wheels/tires)
New camber arms (to fit wheels)
OEM tail lights and side markers with no amber (have originals)
Ceramic tint all around to keep the car nice and cool.

Oil always changed by me every 5k miles with Mobil1 0w40
Vanos replaced within last 10k miles
FSR replaced this month
Clutch supposedly replaced at 80k miles, but no way for me to verify
Clean title, no accidents

Issues:

Steering wheel is alcantara and shows the typical wear.

Rear diff has a very slow leak - can be topped off every couple of months. I've been planning to replace it with a 3.38, just need to find the right one and the time to do it.

Interior of car smells a bit like oil after it has been sitting for the weekend when it is driven for the first time. I'm pretty sure this is the valve cover gasket, which is also a relatively easy job, just have to find the time.

Minor scrapes on front right of car. Car is low and curb snuck up on me.

Well cared for. Always garaged. This car is CLEAN.

Located in San Jose, CA

Let me know what you think. Thanks!

Hmmmm...I think the going rate for a clean title ZHP with 100k miles is around 11-13k...I think yours would sale well for 10k with the issues you have stated.GLWS

Quick update - Using my same post from before so as to not clutter the board or hide anything.

Need help pricing the car again. All *important* issues have been addressed.

See below:

Issues:

Steering wheel is alcantara and shows the typical wear.
Still does, only issue not addressed.

Rear diff has a very slow leak - can be topped off every couple of months. I've been planning to replace it with a 3.38, just need to find the right one and the time to do it.
Rear diff replaced with a 3.38 by Motorspeed West in Santa Clara, CA. Still have old diff and receipts to prove it.

Interior of car smells a bit like oil after it has been sitting for the weekend when it is driven for the first time. I'm pretty sure this is the valve cover gasket, which is also a relatively easy job, just have to find the time.
Valve cover gasket replaced along with spark plugs and spark plug seals by Motorspeed West in Santa Clara, CA. Have receipts.

Minor scrapes on front right of car. Car is low and curb snuck up on me.
Front bumper repainted by B2 Perfection Auto Body in Sunnyvale, CA after a VERY minor slow impact to the rear bumper forced me to have the rear bumper repainted as well. Have photos of original damage to the rear (almost nothing, but I'm a perfectionist, and had to have it fixed. Plus the insurance paid for the rear. I paid for the front out of pocket.). Also have receipts for all work.

Well cared for. Always garaged. This car is CLEAN.
This car is DAMN NEAR PERFECT now.

Please give me your best guess as to what this could reasonable go for as is with everything, or back to stock parted out.

Also, please let me know if you think my estimates for some of the major items parted out is reasonable.

KW V2 coilovers - $1,000
19" Volk LE37s with tires - $2,000

I'm really hoping I can get something near $15k when all is said and done, but I'm not sure if that's reasonable or not.

Willing to take less on a hassle free and quick sale. What do you think? ALL opinions welcome and appreciated.

Thanks!

15k is a bit steep man. I just sold my M3 with 95k on it with 0 issues for $14100... the market is slow so you MIGHT be able to get $12000 for it but if you want to sell it without hassle then I would say $10,000

I'd post it on cars.com and autotrader, forums don't really sell cars. I think you can get between 13-14k. The difference between a zhp and an M3 price is nothing to base your asking price on.
