Just an update. I got my new bushings a couple of days ago. Between being sick and work, I haven't had time to install. But I will post when things are done and after I develop an opinion on how good these bushings are. Good day to all.

I spent all day trying to install these things. Or at least all afternoon / evening. I simply can NOT get these brackets to line up with the bolt holes on the chassis!
Any helpful suggestions? |

Okay, I finally got these baby's installed. I was just having a bad mechanic day. In the end, I don't think they were too hard to install, I was just trying to do it the hard way. As usual.
Initial impression is that I believe they work really well. Some complain that solid control arm bushings transmit more road noise and vibrations. I actually like a little more feedback from the road, but I haven't noticed a great change in these areas myself. I am sure this issue will be a subject of ongoing debate, but I have no reason to regret my decision at this time. I want to thank all of you who posted on this thread. I value all your input, even if I decide differently. ![]() Happy motoring. Quadrant5 |
