VS7's look great I almost bought some on group buy a few years back... but they bend like ridiculously easy I hear so I would be careful driving around in them. I personally like the VS8 better... and I guess they made them even lighter and stronger now in the VS8.2 update. But I wanted some 18's so that's why i went with what I went.

Kalim... I need a huge favor... I put some oem facelifted clears on my car last weekend and got a new LCM and had it reprogrammed for these new tail lights, and bought the BMW retrofit wire kit to make it all work. And it all does... except for the bulb in the inner trunk portion. Basically the retrofit wire kit gave me a wire to power the passenger sider inner bulb but not the drivers side. And I need to figure out what pin powers that since I'm getting a bulb out and I can't supply power to that bulb. Is there any way you could take a picture or tell me what wires are connected in your LCM connector so I can try to figure it out?
Any other magical Kalim voodoo magic you have to fix this will work as well.

Hm... Sillie may have figured out what PIN I'm missing so you don't have to find out just yet Kalim. But... I might need your help later on.
![]() And of course your advice is always welcome. I do need to find out part numbers for these connectors though.

Looking at WDS, the boot lid lamps should be: Pin 29 Yellow/Violet - Right side Pin 30 Yellow/Black - Left side On cars before 9/2001, pin 49 drives both boot lid lights.

Which connectors? The little pins and contacts? They're under MQS in realoem. Mostly I've needed the #5 bushing contacts in the diagram.

Whoa, I didn't know you had to mod them to get the RCRs to work! I always thought they were plug and play.

lol. My amps in the E30 are attached to the seat backs. Do you have fold-down seats or something?

I like that option even if they are fold downs. my friend has his audi setup that way. its pretty nice. but i guess the options depend on the size of the amp.
