WTB - 330i ZHP Sedan to replace my murdered one

Hey everybody.

On 2/16/12 my '04 330i zhp with 37k original miles was, while parked on a major street here in Los Angeles, totaled in a hit and run. No one was in the car, thank God.

But... sigh.

It was damn near flawless.

So.

Nostalgic as I am, searching for, well, as close as I can get... but open to what ya got... must be sedan, must be manual. Must be quick.

I'm in the Los Angeles area but willing to fly anywhere for the right car.

Dearly departed was:
2004 zhp
Sedan
Manual
Silver-gray (my fav)
Black leather (my fav)
37,000 miles

I take great care of my cars. Garaged. I work from home and put on an average of 3000 miles/year... Thanks all for any help connecting me to my next ride.

Could be a great chance to trade up to an M3?

Mind me asking how much you got for it from the insurance?

Insurance will make offer on total loss this coming week. I have a pretty good idea of what it was worth.

Wow... how do you hit and RUN from THAT? Literally, how do you continue driving after a crash like THAT?

My thoughts exactly.

The POI is low enough it doesn't look like a truck...

It's a pretty crazy story. I have a picture of the Ford SUV that hit my car. Someone heard the crash, ran out and snapped a pic of SUV with license plate. The parking space in front of my car was empty -- SUV pushed it through that empty space, then my zhp smashed into the car in front(!). Reportedly the driver shook their head, backed up/ scraped off my car - radiator leaning out of his hood - and took off, trailing various fluids. Oh, and then his front license plate fell off. Yeah. Fell off. So I was able to give the actual license plate to the cops.

As long as you're test driving around, you should try a 135i, those are pretty fun.
