Thumbs down Strange Noise Coming From the Transmission?

Can't figure out where this noise is coming from. I am going to sell this car and I think it would scare potential buyers when they hear this...
Anyone figure out what this noise might be? I posted a video, it sounds like a grinding noise coming from under the shifter area. (I'm thinking transmission)

Any DIY or identification of the problem would be appreciated.
Thanks guys

FYI noise strats in the video around 0:06 - 0:10 also at 0:26 - end of the video. Only when the car is moving.

Edit: It is a 2001 E46 325i with 164,000 miles Auto transmission

need to put the car on a lift of jack stands.
have the engine running and transmission pan warm to touch. open the fill plug see if fluid is coming out or not.
