BMW M135i concept revealed at Geneva Motor Show.

It is also the first three-door version of BMW's second-generation 1-series that is set to be sold from mid-year on with the same range of four-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines as its more practical five-door sibling across Europe. While not a full-fledged M-car, the M135i draws heavily on the year-old M135i coupe, sharing its engine and gearbox among other go-fast components.
Autoweek also reports that an AWD system will be available. This car will be a rocket.

Looks like they facelifted that ugly little thing. Hard to tell from the side view, but if those headlights are similar to the new 6 series, it might not look that bad. For once.

its not facelifted, thats just how the hatchbacks looks.

EDIT: it is facelifted. got a view of the front and it looks like the X1, headlights taper in towards the kidney grille, kinda like the F10 and F30. I guess this is BMWs new family look.
Its not bad looking tho, at least not in person.

agree

Americans have an aversion for hatchbacks or station wagons yet they love SUV's, which are essentially a gigantic hatchback and station wagon in one.

If you guys see them in person, youd like em too. the 5 door, not so much, but the 3 door actually looks cool.

It sort of reminds me of a shooting break.

^ they look more like a shooting brake than a pug or any of that. The 3 doors are actually quit attractive.

I love it. If this thing becomes a reality, I can definitely see myself owning one in the future.
