Yes, I'm trying to go for a top mount.
At this moment I'm afraid the brake fluid will boil because the brake lines will be to close to the downpipe... Would powdercoating and some heat insulating tape prevent high temperatures and the risk of loosing the brakes? Last edited by Cipri; 03-05-2012 at 03:43 PM. |

What mods did you have when you were running 12.9s?

This is how it looks now:
Emissions pump out, water expanding recipient will be relocated, AC will be out. I'm still not sure for the brake lines, they are very close... |

We have here 3 types of gas: 95, 98 and 100. I'm thinking that our 95 is equivalent to your 93 and the 98 is your 95.
More progress on the car. The DSC will be moved as close to the wing as possible... but still it gives me cold chills ![]() To do list: - solid motor & transmission mounts - smaller oil cooling radiator - reposition DSC/ASC + removing completely the metal sheet around it |

Why don't you just low mount it and then keep the A/C and not have to relocate anything?

Because we don't have the streets you have in Australia...low mount would be a risk to loose the turbine and I want to go with a GT42 in near future.

I got my turbo above the factory underbrace. LHD has even more room. You shouldn't have an issue low mounting. Jason (proefi) Fit a gt42 low mount i'm pretty sure.

On a street or drag car yes. If a circuit car don't bother. They fall apart from the constant exessive heat.
