Enco B046 - Dynavin Clone

Can someone that knows more than me please give me the difference between the andriod platform and the windows platform?

Well the windows is just the simple radio, video, audio and gps, where on the android you can downloads apps, surf the internet, just like an android tablet or phone.

I personally think anyone who owns any sort of android device will hold out for the android version...I could be wrong, but I'm assuming all of the people buying the WinCe version have never owned an android device. The amount of apps and things you can with Android is pretty incredible.

my phone is android and i love it, i got the evo 3d, but im going with the wince because the wifi doesnt work at the moment, and when they fix the wifi ill be buying the android version

How many apps would you really be using while driving besides pandora and stuff which you can already stream from your phone to the car.

Umm maybe you tube videos, but that's about it. Wifi, to tether off your phone is kinda cool but what could you do that you can't do from your android phone and stream to the car on Bluetooth.

For the price i think the wince is an awesome deal

Google maps, pandora, torque pro, andicar, gasbuddy...i'm sure there's lots of others that would be useful to have right there on your dash. Sure, you can pull them all up on your phone IF you have an android phone, but to me it would be nice to have the convenience of them right there on your dash with a larger screen. Plus with the wifi I'm assuming you can open up a browser and google anything you want!

That's just my opinion...not saying it's right...that's why they make two versions!

Received mine today - will hopefully install this weekend! It got here really fast - shipped out from Hong Kong Friday, got to LA Saturday, and was delivered in Seattle Monday.

can someone tell me if we can hook up amps or a subwoofer to this device? If not we'd just be using this as a normal head unit with speakers with no chance to upgrade on sound quality.

Has anyone that received their unit installed teh rear camera as well ?

Im planning on getting the Enco - B146, Ive already talked to Jolly and am almost ready to make the purchase but Im a little worried about using Western Union. I've never used Western Union before and am not sure how it works. Can the few people that have ordered from her confirm that its legit.

BTW, I hooked up my iphone to the ipod cable and I can control music through the unit - including the steering wheel controls. It detects the iphone and automatically switches to it for playback. So far so good. Waiting on my reverse camera to finish the install.

There is one little annoying thing that is happening with my radio, maybe some here can help. When I get in and start the car the headunit does not default to the radio or the last thing I was doing, instead it will randomly choose one of the inputs.. sometime the ipod and sometime the dvd or even the radio. Does anyone know if there is a setting to make a default?

received mine today and they forgot my antenna adapter. not sure how to plug in aux cable for mp3 player or phone to back of radio.is there a special cord i need instead of the normal aux male to male cord?and how do you hook up amp rca cables for subwoofer,only has one subwoofer rca on back of radio not sure how to hook it up. thanks for any help

Or just attach one of the RCA wires to the sub RCA on the HU.
