1978 530i Alpina?
I need some assistance on this from someone who knows the older model bmw's. I just picked up a '78 530i and its badged as an Alpina model, but is there any way to check for sure? I already had BMW run the VIN and they said they're being limited to just the production date. Any help?

And btw, even if its not an alpina how can I get some specs on this car? BMW was able to confirm a M30 engine 3.0 but now is that the 176 hp or 184?
