Please Help! Replaced lenses, now no lights.

SoÖ My stock lenses were horrible, I tried buffing them and it still didnít look good enough. So I decided to order new ones, they came, I installed and they look GREAT! However, after installing I went to the car wash and when I left, I noticed the lights are filled up with moisture and it must of blown my Xenon, because my lights donít work now.

I ordered new 10,000k d2r Xenon bulbs, I am going to put them in tomorrow, but I donít want the same thing to happen again. So my question is, do I need to seal the headlights when something. When I took them apart, they were tight and healed together with some type of glue.

If I do need to reseal them together, what do I need to buy?

Thanks.

Not tryin' to be an ass, but with 10.000K, even if they light up, you'll think they are out (looking from inside of a car.)

I'm new to HID's, I thought the higher the #, the brighter they are. Are you saying they will look like they are off, as in the road will be dark? What is the point of the light then. Should I send them back? If so, what should I get?

Yes, I tried to say that...in a funny way. Reality is, it will ALMOST be as if they are off. Read a little...the whiter the color, more light on the the road...as you go further away from white, towards the blue and purple (higher K numbers) less usable light you have. 10.000K would be far far FAR worse than halogen bulbs.

10000K is rice You want Osram CBI (Cool Blue Intense) They are 5000k And about the brightest light you can put in an e46. If you ordered new lenses, you should have also ordered new gaskets. That will keep the moisture out.

And make sure they are D2s...And just to clarify...these are in a Projector housing and not a regular halogen bowl, correct?
