Aww! I couldn't wait for this to come back around! 2009 legit Shelby Cobra 850hp 2xxxlbs took first place! I think his 0-60-0 was like 7sec? The retro rod vette was fvcking bootiful! (2009) This year 2011 a Danny Pop won in a z06 vette, looked kinda rice. But we all know the wing was needed

I still have some things to finish before then but it's looking like a possibility. Depends on rain as well.

Perk you have any videos of your M3 on youtube? Or anybody else for that matter?
Just curious, b/c I still get "expert" comments about my Cobra and Powerstroke videos that are several years old, I imagine its even worse for the M's that have videos up. |

I agree and performance gains are marginal at best. I go back to racing for an example. If NASCAR, Formula 1, Grand AM, etc., etc. don't wrap there headers, then I don't need to.

Never seen much evidence that there is any benefit on a N/A setup, as long as there is a half-way decent intake shield/box or CAI. Now wrapping the hotside of a turbo setup is a little different, but not much.

Alot of truck pullers go with the turbo blankets and hot-side coating/wrappings due to insane temps for a relatively short time. I knew one guy that had a "mild" built pulling truck. He had a huge ice chest/toolbox that he'd fill with ice water for his air-water intercooler. It would be all melted by the time he was done with his pull... Anyone ever get that feeling that when the time comes to change, modify, or fix something... you always end up having 2-3 other things in addition to that? Last night I put the car up on jack stands so I could start removing all the crap for my pulley install. Well I figured now is the perfect time to make some front end adjustments to the suspension.... Just my luck... seems like I previously over tightened the drivers side top assembly... now I have to figure a way to remove the front strut and replace them...
![]() I just hope my top lock nut isnt stripped... fack me...
