Walking dead -zombie series on amc (Possible Spoilers: Read at your own risk)

Would it be plausible to think that the knife that Shane was stabbed with possibly had some prior walker blood on it? Turning him into a zombie. That's what I'm thinking. Especially since the knife was used to kill walkers at the brawl location where they were supposed to drop off their hostage.

I don't think the virus can act THAT fast. I think the producers just want us to think that everyone's infected at this point

Everyone is infected. The living is immune to it thus the virus/bacteria/etc is dormant while the host is alive. It probably becomes active when the host dies for survival. Remember the doctor in the CDC whispered something to Rick before they left? We still don't know what that was. Could be a big twist.

Also to the people arguing if the virus can act fast or not, remember the doctor in the CDC also stated that the transition varies from as short as 3 minutes to 24 hours. they haven't determined why.

I like how the series doesn't follow the character plot lines from the comics exactly, makes things interesting for those who already read them.

As mentioned, the "Walking Dead" refers to the humans still alive (Confirmed by the Producers), and the zombies probably follow the Romero Zombie rules. Which is anyone who dies will become a zombie regardless.

This explains why it's so difficult to stop them, and why they took over the World so quickly.

it's a good thing i just got into breaking bad. otherwise, i'd have no good tv after the season finale next week. i wish i could just travel ahead in time to watch season 3

Anybody have theories on why an army of walkers just suddenly showed up? Maybe just a random coincidence that there is a huge herd, but possibly a reason behind it?

well at the beginning of the last episode, herschel mentions that the cows grazing outside have been attracting zombies, which is why he started moving rick and co. into the house instead of having them camp outside. you gotta figure the zombies were gonna close in sooner or later.

btw, did anyone notice that, once again, daryl/glen and shane/rick went into the woods to look for randall and t-dog (who had a bigass hunting rifle in his hand too) went into the house with the women? i understand they dont wanna give him a big role, but his pussification makes no sense to the plot of the show.
